Stella - Dog Sculpture

My most recent dog sculpture commission. Meet Stella! 

3 1/2" tall, made of Sculpey clay and painted with acrylics. 

This is my second sculpture I've painted and I really am liking the style.

'Macaroon' Painting and Sculpture

I had the privilege to complete a double commission of a Toy Aussie named Macaroon. A painting as well as a sculpture, so much fun! I tried a new approach to a pet sculpture this time around by painting it from a single-color base. I think this is my new way of doing sculptures - I adore the results!

'Trigger' and Sisters

I had a commission titled 'Trigger' a few weeks back. The customer got it and loved it so much she ordered her other puppies as well. These guys were so fun to do! I had never painted an elderly dog before so 'Macy' was a special one to do for me. It was fun to keep the western-styled background and have the dogs be bright colors.
