This is a commission of a Vietnam War Submarine Destroyer.

It was commissioned by one of then men that manned it as a Machinist Mate of the M Division. The USS Walker was named in honor of Rear Admiral John Grimes Walker. She was built in 1943. She was 2,050 tons, 376ft. and 6in. long. She was in WWII; the Korean War and the Vietnam War. On July 2nd, 1969 she was striken from the Navy list and sold to Italy. In 1977 she was retired from the Italian Navy and broken up for scrap.
Great ink drawing! I like how you faded the color with the distance as it goes back in perspective.
